Tug Boat Alarm and Monitoring System.

When the Tug Boat M.V Taminga was having trouble with its existing alarm system, Sea-Tech Automation was called on to install its ST2000 Alarm and Monitoring System. The vessel is located in Whyalla, South Australia and owned by Adsteam Harbour SA Pty Ltd.

The vessel has a bollard pull of 47.0T and is equipped with Z Pellers. The input/output point count is 150+ with a mixture of analogue & digital points. These range from manifold temperatures to tank levels. The ST2000 is based on the SNAP I/O System from Opto 22. The SNAP system was selected by Sea-Tech Automation for its flexible I/O, ease of use and distributed nature. The ST2000 has been approved to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) standards.
